I just watched this episode on Tuesday night. I had not seen this episode in probably a few months. I was literally crying because it’s so obvious how in love these two are with each other. Even after the initial breakup, you can see on their faces just how in love they really are. They were both scared of commitment and afraid of getting hurt, and that is the only reason they backed away from each other.
When Shawn found the purse with the items in them, he was drawn to the owner of the purse. Even though the purse was not Angela’s, all the items he was drawn to were hers. He felt such a deep, and spiritual bond with the items in the purse. He knew he was in love with her soul even before he found it was Angela and i think that is beyond romantic. What really upsets me is how the writers could create such a beautiful and powerful love story, and imply throughout the episode that Angela is supposed to be Shawn’s love and Destiny, and then to destroy that in the end is beyond wrong on so many levels. This episode only clinches just how real their love really was. All you have to do is look at the way they look into each other’s eyes and you feel the intensity of their love, and it’s inspiring.
